The Words - An Exhibition of Artists´ Poems at The 48th Venice Biennale in Venice, Italy.

An Exhibition of Artists´ Poems that was presented in Helsinki, Finland, Paris, France and Venice Biennale in Venice, Italy

in 1998 - 1999. The show consisted of The Gallery Part with poems on silk cloths, The City Part with poems and truisms in

the metro stations, buses and trams and The Book Part, which is to be found in The Books -section of this website.


In The Book each artist had 8 pages space and they could choose two colours to present their poems and texts with. 

The Book was sold in all the major prestigious artbook stores like The New Museum Bookstore in New York, The

Serpentine Gallery Bookshop in London, The Flammarion at The Centre Pompidou in Paris, The Moderna Museet

Bookshop in Stockholm, The Printed Matter in New York, Bücherbogen in Berlin, Sautter und Lackmann in Hamburg and

SF MoMA Bookstore in San Francisco as well as Vancouver Art Gallery Bookstore in Vancouver, On Sundays Bookstore in

Tokyo, Japan and Kiasma Bookstore in Helsinki, Finland.
